Science and technology is a core focus at Architrave. over the past decade, we’ve successfully undertaken significant projects dedicated to creating facilities that drive research and collaboration, while reflecting our unwavering commitment to precision and innovation.

Noteworthy achievements include the renovation of the University of Chicago Medicine’s Knapp Center for Biomedical Discovery which transformed 6,500 SF of bio wet lab space and 4,300 SF of offices to establish the Duchossois Family Institute. We are also proud of our work in designing the University of Chicago’s High Bay Research Building including the execution of a 4,250 SF lab buildout for the Deep Underground Neutrino Experiment (DUNE). Additionally, we’ve made valuable contributions to Argonne National Laboratory, leading projects that revamped the laboratory spaces and enhanced functionality. Further, in collaboration with Chicago Public Schools, we’ve played a pivotal role in creating dynamic STEM labs that nurture diverse and collaborative environments for student activities and teaching.
